In mi opinion, the country which has the biggest impact on society, in the list, is Brazil because has many tourists in almost all the year, the famous people who represent the country are well know, especially in the sports world, and is growing economically making that the latin american countries see it and want to be like them.
Although, the situation political and social is not good, the recent "mundial" generate many negative opinions about the money management from the government. The taxes were too high to the residents, many of them had to give the money won in the day leaving with no food to his family, but, almost nobody know this fact. In my view that is the reason why the Brazilians make graffiti, to show and denounce to the world the real state of the country.
The importance of street art it is to give voice to those that do not have it.

Bangkok's 'Mexican' Gangsters

Cultural appropiarion is the adoption of elements like clothes and music of one culture by people of a different culture.

Bangkok's 'Mexican' gangsters are the example of this act seen in a good way, because they appreciate and respect the culture, they are not wearing their clothes or listen their music just because is a trend. But, exist a difference between the real Mexican gangsters and Bangkok's gansters, the second ones adopt the style of clothing, tattos and hairstyles because is fresh, cool, represent their personality and it fit to Thailand's weather  but they are not agree with the way of act or think of MG, they dislike the violence and drug sales. 

It is fascinating that the members of this minority are common citizens, during the day,  they have normal jobs as teachers, policemen even bureaucrats and many of them are family men! They are like superman, except for the powers, normal in the day, awesome at night! 

Also is amazing how internet can change the style of one group of humans! The power of technology now is big compare to the past.

A little bit about me...

My name is Adriana De la Hoz Pérez, i am 17 years old and i am currently studying Industrial Engineering at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia.

I really like to read american and european literature, my favorite author is J. K Rowling, well known for her saga "Harry Potter", but i enjoy her other books like "The Casual Vacancy". Futhermore, i draw in my free time to relax and just have fun.

Like almost all people, i love go to the cinema with my friends and family, in my house i see science fiction TV shows like "The Flash".

I have traveled to Europe, just some countries but i enjoyed every part of the trip, it was interesting to know what i like to call "The other world", their culture, food, history, most representative places,etc.  But at the same time i realized that Colombia is way too much beautiful, full of happy and decided people and richer than the other places that i visited, i am proud to be Colombian and someday i will put my grain of sand for a better country.

My role models are my family, they are the most brave people that i know.

My dream? to travel the world! and i think with this blog i am gonna make my dream come true without moving from my house.
